Historical information
Jack Lockett was born at Waanyarra in 1891 and grew up on his grandparent's property. He writes with vivid clarity about his school days, fishing in the local creek and about his grandfather who made wine and also delivered milk.
There are also further accounts by other family members about the homestead of George Lockett and Jack's grandfather, James Lockett.
