Historical information
The Bofill family originated in Barcelona in Spain and later migrated to Australia with one daughter. The remainder of the family were born at Waanyarra. Henry Bofill must have had some sort of relationship with Mary Elizabeth Lockett with Jack being born in 1891. Henry later married Evelyn Mildred Grey in 1894. The family relocated to Melbourne later and this is sadly where Henry met with his accident.

The extract is written by Henry Bofill's daughter, Estella Evans (nee Bofill) about her family and her childhood. She gives very vivid descriptions of the people she encountered as a child growing up at Waanyarra.
