Physical description

Rolled 2 core cable, approx. half mile, stored in a green canvas bag. Around the outside is multi layers of black cotton backed gaffer tape. There are three metal rings around the outside of the roll. The bottom, or standing end, has black gaffer tape across the centre aperture. The "payout end" has an aperture ring of rubber. The canvas is drab olive colour. In the conductors are 4 wires of copper, 3 wires of steel, interwoven insulation is black PVC.

Painted on the standing end is : "Standing end - IVIRELVD - 1A/TT - 1/2 mile".
Painted on the payout end is: "Payout end - MX-306 A/G Network Connect".
