This book is a history of Emerald settlement history written by Gus Ryberg. The Four W's is unique amongst histories of the Dandenongs in that it was originally written by the author, Gus Ryberg, as a 60-part weekly series in the local paper, 'The Trader'. Gus involved the community in this weekly writing and encouraged them to provide feedback.
