Physical description

Senator accordion, registered, made in Germany. Timber box accordion with leather straps and metal fittings, cardboard bellows and ten reeds. Decorative engraving on timber around reeds.

Fair condition, very worn, handmade repairs with textile tape visible on throughout bellows.

Front engraved with manufacturers label "Senator/ REGISTERED . MADE IN GERMANY"
Paper label adhered to bellows "J.THOMAS & Co LTD/ 1, GEORGE ST/ MACHESTER."
Hand written "A" on timber surface visible above reeds.
