Extract of an address by Mrs. Violet Barry Lambert, OBE, to the 1973 AGM of the Sherbrooke Historical Society, on her experiences as a councillor of the Shire of Ferntree Gully from 1936 on. In 1946 she became the first woman president of the Shire. Includes two newspaper clippings (undated) on her death.
