The three articles in this volume relate the stories of migrants who settled in the Monbulk area. Albert Phasey (A Tribute to Fairy Dell) lived at Fairy Dell for a short time from 1949, where he grew bulbs for the retail market. Anne Krans describes her house at Monbulk, and coping without electricity. Ann Devries arrived in Australia in 1950 and worked at the Monbulk Jam Factory for 32 years.
