Significance

Both books belonged to Jack Nobelius, son of Carl Oscar Nobelius and grandson of Carl Axel Nobelius. Kia Ora Nurseries at Narre Warren was started by Oscar Nobelius. Diary entries detail nursery and orchard activities, especially picking of pears.

Physical description

A hardcover reference book featuring information on profitable fruit growing. The book is bound in faded green cloth, with a faded red and light green art deco-style title. The book is 228 pages long, and has both colour and black and white photographs and illustrations throughout.
