Emerald Garden Club Minute Book 1965-1970. This item started by Nell Jeffery who handwrote all of the notes and uses accurate botanical names. Minutes includes Treasurer's reports. Guest speakers and the general activities of the Club.
The Emerald Garden Club operated from 1960 to 2025 with monthly meetings throughout the year and annual garden shows in August. The last garden show was in 2008 although monthly meetings with competitions, biannual plant sales, and working bees continued. The Club was forced to close in 2025 due to an ageing membership.
