Significance

Emerald is part of a bushfire danger zone having experienced and been at risk of bushfires on many occasions since its settlement.
The booklet provides information on and reporting of government and community measures to regenerate and protect bushfire prone areas.

A soft cover booklet prepared by the Victorian government, Department of Sustainability and Environment. It provides an update on the recovery program addressing the effects of the 2009 Bushfires. The cover has a photograph of regenerating bushland and the Victorian government logo. The back cover and spine are blank.
