Significance

The Emerald Country Club was built in the late 1920s on remnant land of the Gembrook Nurseries as an American-style country club. The golf course and the club house were a significant part of Emerald Community Life for over 80 years.

Underneath this are a succession of brass plates listing winners for each year 2006-2014.
At the bottom of the trophy is inscribed: 'Emerald Golf Club / Servicemans Cay Perpetual / Best Civilian'
