Historical information

This pram was owned by a daughter of the Charman family. The Charman family were early settlers in the Emerald district, the family maintaining a consistent presence for more than 100 years.This pram was made by Cyclops in Sydney. During that era, Cyclops won several awards for Australian Toy of the Year and Wheel Toy of the Year.

Physical description

Cyclops dolls pram used by Sharyn Charman. 1950s vintage with burgundy vinyl body with white vinyl trim and a chrome frame. The pram hood folds back and the pram frame can be collapsed down to the 4 rubber spoked wheels. The inside of the pram is decorated with small cartoon figures of kittens. A burgundy vinyl cover is included that clips across the top of the doll space.

Inscriptions & markings

The bed of the pram has a stick on label naming the maker, Cyclops.
The pram cover includes the Cyclops word logo on the exterior.
