Significance

LG released their first mobile phone in 1995. They were later to release flip phones and phones with keypads. They released their first Android device in 2009 and by 2013 they were the third largest mobile phone manufacturer in the market. In 2021, they shut down their mobile phone division citing the challenges of a competitive market and in order to focus on other products. This particular phone is a fairly basic one for the time.
