Significance

This booklet of Federation-related historical information may have been compiled by someone at the Emerald Museum as part of the Museum's celebrations of the centenary of Federation. The Museum and the Dandenong Ranges Music Council organised a bush picnic and concert to celebrate the centenary. This picnic took place on 25 February 2001.

Some of the information is specific to Victoria and also specific to the history of Emerald. Unknown compiler.
