Historical information

A gift to Elaine Morris (nee Nobelius) on her 26th birthday from her older brother, Laurie Nobelius. Elaine Morris was the daughter of one of Carl Axel Nobelius's sons, Jock. Elaine and her husband Douglas Morris were local residents. Carl Axel Nobelius founded the acclaimed Nobelius Nurseries.

Significance

The gifting of this book from a brother to a sister is emblematic of the importance of religion for this family at that time.
