This toy koala was owned all her life by Emerald resident, Karen Alexander, now aged in her 70s. Karen believes this toy was made by Mrs Wilkinson, a teacher at the Victorian Kindergarten Teachers College, Kew who was a friend of her mother.

A stuffed toy koala bear. Made with kangaroo fur, leather and rubber. Circa 1940s. Known to its owner as 'Teddy'.
