The canvas kit bag is one item in a broader collection of personal military gear donated by Bob Baguley. Other items are 2 khaki webbed belts, a dark coloured metal water bottle and a khaki plastic water bottle.

Significance

The Baguley family are long term residents of the Emerald district.

Physical description

Kit bag, khaki canvas, cylindrical top with 4 brass eyes. Circular flap sewn into top to cover contents when bag is closed. Webbed strap attached to back of bag includes a metal clip that can be attached to cord threaded through the brass eyes to form a shoulder strap.
