Historical information

These dolls are a part of a collection sold as souvenirs of those countries. It is believed they belonged to a former teacher of Emerald Primary School who taught there in the 1950s. These dolls seem to date from the mid-20th century. People might collect souvenir dolls on their overseas travels as a reminder of the interesting and 'exotic' places they have been to.
