Significance

This item holds historical significance as it depicts members of the Emerald Football club, this item also holds social significance as it depicts the members of a local sporting club and shows a way people socialised and connected at the time of its creation.

Physical description

Rectangular colour photograph. The colour photograph depicts an AFL team lined up in three lines, one behind the other, with the front line seated. The players wear black jerseys with a red diagonal band from their left shoulders to their right hip and red shorts. Nine people can be seen sitting in the front row with the middle man in plain clothes. Behind them are 12 men lined up with the men on either end dressed in plain clothes, behind them stand 9 men; all in the club uniform. They all stand in front of a red/brown brick building with a power line attached to the side of it. To their left two cars, can be seen parked, and beyond the cars, a tree can be seen as well as a house.
