Significance

The Teasdale family were shop proprietors in the 1940s in Emerald. Kevin Teasdale has written extensively about Emerald in that period. His writings are contained with photographs in his family folder in Filing Cabinet 6C.

Physical description

Black and white rectangular photograph printed on matte photographic paper. Photograph of three children standing on Beaconsfield Road (present-day Kilvington Drive). The view looks toward Belgrave-Gembrook Road . Local shops (the Teasdale boot shop and fruit shop, Hogan's Coffee Palace and Legge's store are just visible. The three children are presumably Kevin and his younger siblings.
