Brother of the famous pioneering businessman, Malcolm Reid, Tom Reid established his furniture manufacturing and importing business in Adelaide in the 1920s expanding to Renmark early in the same decade. The business was a victim of the Great Depression closing towards the end of the decade. This bookmark is therefore clearly from the 1920s and was another form of advertising.
