Historical information

This is a set of nine photographs of Royal Australian Survey Corps personnel serving in WW2 taken in the early 1940s. It is not known where the photos were taken. LT John Nolan’s military career progressed to the highest position in the Corps. He was the CO of Army Headquarters (AHQ) Survey Regiment, Bendigo from 1965 to 1969 and the Director of the Survey Corps from 1972 to 1975. LT Lionel Sprenger MBE MID’s last military appointment was the CO of AHQ Survey Regiment, Bendigo from 1969 to 1970. He tragically passed away whilst serving in the position.

This is a set of nine photographs of Royal Australian Survey Corps personnel serving in WW2 taken in the early 1940s. The photographs are on negative film and scanned at 600 dpi. They are part of the Army Survey Regiment’s Collection.
