Historical information
Article provides a brief history of nursing in warfare from Florence Nightingale in the Crimean War (1854-1856) and the formation of nursing services in Australia from the Boer War through to the nursing officers on peacekeeping missions in the 1990’s. Point of the article is 100 years of military nurses and the planned national memorial for military nurses.
Physical description
