Historical information

The MMTB in conjunction with Colonial Mutual Life and its employees who paid into the scheme, provided a insurance policy in the event of death and a payment upon retirement. The first page details the basis of the fund. Page 6 details what a female member could do upon marriage - transfer the benefits to her husband. When this policy was active is yet to be determined, cannot see it mentioned in the MMTB Annual reports of the late 1940s.

Demonstrates a CML/MMTB group assurance plan booklet and giving a details of its benefits.

Booklet, centre stapled, 8 white pages + light blue cover.

Inscriptions & markings

Has in ink on front cover "W Wallace MU 8821" on front cover, on rear of inside cover, an illustration of benefits.
