His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama visited the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion on 7 July 2007 to consecrate the Stupa, still under construction at the time. His Holiness was officially greeted and warmly welcomed by Ian Green, Chairman and Director of the Great Stupa.
