Printed with the Head of Queen Elizabeth II as a watermark, Hotel name overlain by the menu in red, with the name of the event at the top and two images of tram 38 in Wendouree Parade by a tram stop in both left and right hand corners. Printed using a colour bubble jet printer on plain A4 paper. Three copies held. Prepared by Neil Robe - dinner organiser. 1964.2 - A5 sheet photocopied with a Ballarat Tramway Museum 10cent ticket (A163000) blown up to fill the sheet and on the back - handwritten and photocopied - "Available for a complimentary ride on Sunday 16th September - remembering 30 years - S.E.C. Tramway Employees Reunion". Prepared by Richard Gilbert of the BTM. Given to the attendees of the dinner. See also Reg. Victorian Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (VIOSH) Australia is the Asia-Pacific centre for teaching and research in occupational health and safety (OHS) and is known as one of Australia's leaders on the field. VIOSH has a global reputation for its innovative approach within the field of OHS management. VIOSH had its first intake of students in 1979. At that time the Institution was known as the Ballarat College of Advanced Education. In 1990 it became known as Ballarat University College, then in 1994 as University of Ballarat. It was 2014 that it became Federation University. VIOSH Australia students are safety managers, senior advisors and experienced OHS professionals. They come from all over Australia and industry. Students are taught active research and enquiry; rather than textbook learning and a one-size fits all approach. VIOSH accepts people into the Graduate Diploma of Occupational Hazard Management who have no undergraduate degree - on the basis of extensive work experience and knowledge. The magazine is the Official Occupational Safety and Health Journal of the National Safety Council of Australia. It provides information on various aspect of safety plus equipment and clothing suitable for different situations. Pages 38 and 39 outlines the VIOSH course at Ballarat College of Advanced Education - Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hazard Management. The magazine was started in 1933 by Frank Packer as a weekly publication. The first editor was George Warnecke and the initial dummy was laid out by WEP (William Edwin Pidgeon) who went on to do many famous covers over the next 25 years. It is the most widely read magazine in the history of Australian publishing. During wartime despite printing restrictions, and it began publishing coloured photographic covers.This is an example of anAustralian women's magazine published during WW11.It gives practical advice on needlework / knitting and evidences the widespread interest in contemporary fashion. In doing so it shows what were the fashionable, but broadly affordable, women's and children's clothing styles of their day. These magazines also reflect women's interests.A 32 pp magazine, titled The Australian Women's Weekly. On the front cover is a coloured drawing of a man and a woman sitting under a tree. The woman is pouring tea from a billy into the tin cup held by the man. A tethered horse is grazing to their right and a small brown and white dog is in the foreground. This illustration is signed WEP (William Edwin Pidgeon). An absentee owner, Buckley employed the Jeffery brothers, Bob and Ted, with the help of Harry Cleeland, to run the property. The Jeffrey brothers were promised by Buckley that Churchill Island would be passed to them on his death but this never happened. Programme of a Legacy Demonstration at the Melbourne Town Hall on 2nd November 1932. Throughout the year Melbourne Legacy provided classes for Junior Legatees such as dancing, gymnastics and eurythmics, the Demonstration was an annual event to showcase their skills. Melbourne Legacy conducted Annual Demonstrations / Parades from 1928 through to 1980s, usually held at Melbourne Town Hall. The beautiful costumes were made by members of the Junior Legacy Mothers' Club and the Melbourne Legacy Wives' Association.
