Changed its name in 1934 to the "Aust Tramway & Motor Omnibus Employees Association" so as to incorporate bus drivers of motor omnibuses. Became part of the Rail Transport Bus Union in 1993. Round pressed steel badge with the words "All Lines" pressed into the badge around the top portion of the badge, the word "Car Works" and number "25" pressed into the lower half of the badge -with small horizontal lines within the individual letters. Has a brass finish with the Melbourne Tramways Board logo in the lower part of the badge. On rear badge two metal lugs have been soldered onto the badge and a leather strap with a button hole cut into to enable it to be worn on a uniform. Leather strap secured with wire. Used possibly from mid 1910's when the Board was formed until it was replaced by the MMTB in 1921. The area where the inspector's number has been painted on is in brass/gold finish. The number "5" has been painted on in royal blue colour. Illustration of Driver John (Jack) O'Callaghan and a conductor at a terminus or short working with tram W 342. Has the dates regarding the tramcar's working life on the top of the illustration. Advised by Donor that Jack was a "tram employee" between 1919 and 1922, a Gripman - 1924 - 1925 and a Motorman 1928 - 1931. After that he was a signalman. The photo was possibly taken at an opening of new track event. Scanned from an original photograph by the donor and sent to the depot when visiting about organising a tour. Tram crew in full uniform of the era, driver holding the controller and brake handles.
