Gives details of the truck, its capability, basis, use in New York for example, how it functions, load and speed capacity, motor size, basic dimensions, limitations and drawings. 2nd copy held as well - on toner based copy rather than heat sensitive paper. Details equipment that is available and the possible uses it could be put to, with numerous photos. Has a list of equipment, index and on last page a list of officers and directors. Has been stamped on the top left hand corner with the ESCo Company stamp but overwritten in ink with a BTPS catalogue number and information. Side stapled and then bound with a green tape on left hand side. Gives details of the standards of the materials, rolling, payment, conformity, testing, marking holes for both rails and fishplates. Drawings for 13 different weight rails, straight and curves, 90lb/yard to 116 and a drawing of the BS tyre profile for tram car wheels and how it interfaces with a rail. Four page foolscap stencil duplicated instruction sheet titled "Notes for Motormen re New Weekly Tickets.", pinned in the top left hand corner. Details the new style of ESCo weekly tickets to be used in Ballarat from Monday 7/2/1927, where two types of tickets were used - Morning and Evening Tickets and Lunch Hour Tickets. Gives instructions on their use, advantages, colours, fraud protection, schedule of timing when tickets issued against the various run numbers on page 3. Page four, titled "Instructions for Conductors re New Weekly Return Tickets and Weekly Tickets" gives instructions re the issuing of 4d return tickets, a new 3d return ticket and how the colours varied with each day. Notes when the tickets will be collected by the clerk for runs 13 and 14. See Reg.
