Newspaper clipping from The Courier, 20/3/1963, titled "Bluebirds cause keen excitement in the city", recording the passing of the convoy of Donald Campbell's Bluebird car and speedboat through Ballarat and stopping outside the Town Hall. Photo has tramcar 14 and a bogie tram in the background. Donald Campbell himself was unable to attend. Bluebird was one the motor vehicle used in the land world speed record attempts of the era. Questions answered concerned tram 40 and when it entered service, the Gold tram (23) and when and who it was sold to, that trams 13 and 16 are waiting an extensive overhaul and the former Adelaide numbers of the trams purchased from Adelaide in 1937.
