Shows the whole length of the buildings. 1350.2 - Western side of depot buildings from Gregory St. end, looking towards Wendouree Parade. 1350.3 - Eastern side of depot building from Gregory St. end. 1350.4 - Western side of depot building from Wendouree Parade - shows yard on side which was to become the tennis court. 1350.5 - Office, lockers etc. buildings on east side of depot, from Wendouree Parade, Shows the 'Bundy' clock. Yields information about the reconstruction of the depot trackwork during 1935/1936 and the condition of the rails, types of rails and methodsSet of 5 Black and white photo prints from collected negatives of the relaying of the depot fan at the SEC Ballarat depot building, during refurbishment by the SEC during 1935 or 1936. 1351.1 - Wendouree Parade depot junction, track - relaying the 2nd set of points. One track was still useable at the time. Note fences and tools lying around the work area. 1351.2 - laying out the trackwork for two and three roads, note machines and cylinders in background. 1351.3 - looking along No. 2 road out of the depot doors, not connected, possibly taken some time after 1351.2, as the area appears to be cleaned up. 1351.4 - Photo showing the various rail weights for possibly the western rail on No. 3 road and how the fishplates were at the time of the photograph. Not known whether this was the final arrangement, taken looking towards the depot building. 1351.5 - ditto but from the other end - note the damaged flangeway on the depot end rail - horse tram rail? Yields information about the installation of the service pits in the depot during 1935/1936 and the methods usedSet of 2 Black and white photo prints from collected negatives of the construction of service pits and the pit for the wheel grinder at the SEC Ballarat depot building, during refurbishment by the SEC during the 1935/ 1936. 1352.1 - Formwork being set up for the service pit in No. 1 road at the SEC depot. 1352.2 - finished concrete walls for pit and wheel grinder on No. 4 road at the SEC depot, but not yet fully backfilled. No. 12 at the front of the depot and two other single truckers on adjacent tracks. 2nd copy held of 1352.2 ex moveable display boards. Two SEC 4c tickets, light red printing on off white paper, Nos. A557978 and A557979 with portion of tickets missing. See image for one of these tickets. On rear of tickets is a printed diagonal pattern. Handwritten note to Warren Doubleday from Dave Macartney on a piece of ARHS Vic. Div. news sheet explains the origin of these tickets - found blocking the north east sander on tram 18 on 25 April 2000. Twenty two page document, outlining the Acts and Regulations of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria with an introduction, dated 28 may 1958. Gives background to the Electricity Commissioners Bill of 1918, SEC ACTS, General Powers and responsibilities, SEC ACT of 1929, which allowed for operation of Tramways, and associated provisions and powers, Yallourn Township, Tramways By-Law No. 1, Orders in Council for local councils to supply power and wiring rules etc. Printed by a duplicating process onto paper with rounded corners. Pages held in top left hand corner by a brass split binder. Significant for shows the form and method of issuing a certificate of service for a specific person, his duties, and performance. Signed by the person who received the form. Shows that the person was retrenched by the SEC prior to final closure of the tramways.Single sheet of off white or light grey paper, titled "Certificate of Service" prepared by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SEC) for 'Dallas John Everett". Pre printed certificate form "FMI 5-190 R2". Occupation given as "Driver/Conductor, Tramways" for the period from 19/9/1967 to 3/8/1971. Gave conduct and ability as "Satisfactory" and reason for leaving "Retrenchment". Issued on 5/8/1971 by Personnel Superintendent. Has D. J. Everett's signature on left hand margin. Significant in being a roster rotation sheet that was issued following the reduction in services on the Ballarat system. Shows how the crews were organised and how the system worked for a whole year.Single sheet of off white duplicating paper titled "Rotation Roster 3/70". Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number that an employee would do for a particular week and day of the week and the total hours mins worked that week. Has "LJD / 3/70", showing that Les Denmead authorised the roster. Was part of D. J. Everett papers. See also Reg. Details the sign on / sign off times for each run number operated by Motormen / Conductors and where they signed on, either depot or city and the total time worked for that particular shift.
