Before and After", four small and nineteen large envelopes marked "Certificate of Marriage", twenty-three Certificates of Marriage, twenty-nine Notice of Intended Marriage documents, twenty-one Consent to Marriage of Minor documents, and one Marriage Register. This gown was worn by Ellen Harvey Cundy (1857--1939) on her marriage to Thomas Davenport Wood on January 23, 1878. It was the first marriage at St. Paul's Church of England, Clyde Street, Myrtleford. The gown was made by the bride's mother, Marrianne CundyThis is the first bridal gown to grace the former timber church building. Both the Cundy and Wood families were prominent locally, having settled at Waterloo/Barwidgee Creek/Myrtleford area in the 1860s. This gold ring inscribed with the initials E.P.once belonged to Mrs Emma Parrot (nee Hales ) who married to Charles Parrot in 1857. The Parrot family were some of the earliest settlers in the district and there is now a Parrot Street in Cobden.
