Sign stating "LIFT TO COUNCIL CHAMBERS FUNCTION ROOMS" in gold coloured lettering adhered to brown wood veneer board contained under glass and a brown wood veneer frame.

The horseshoe was found during excavating the site for the development of GESAC, East Boundary Road, Bentleigh. Iron horseshoe, U-shaped, dark and corroded with concretion / accretion of rusty coloured debris over much of the surface.No legible inscriptions.

This portrait is one of two portraits which were located in a basement storage area beneath the library at Glen Eira City Council Town Hall. The portrait has been identified as Councillor Hugh Thomson, J. P. Mayor 1912, 1913 by the details below the image. A copy of the same image appears in a series of portraits of mayors in the corridor of the Glen Eira City Council Town Hall.B/w portrait photograph, mounted and framed in wooden frame and set behind glass. Plaque was previously located on the front wall of the East Bentleigh Memorial Pool alongside the original City of Moorabbin Memorial Pool plaques. The plaques were removed from the wall when the building was demolished for the GESAC development. The Moorabbin pool plaques were restored and relocated to the rhs wall in the entrance to GESAC. Plaque, bronze rectangular with polished bronze border and relief lettering and brown textured background. Blue coloured cover with white lettering and B/W image of the front of the Art Gallery Portico. In fair condition with some "dog-eared" pages, light stains on the cover and yellowing internal pages.

The map titled: “Distribution and use of Existing property map No. 6” (Metropolitan Town Planning Commission Melbourne and Suburbs) is of historical significance. It is listed on page 168 of Chapter 4 the Zoning section of the "Plan of General Development Melbourne Report of the Metropolitan Town Planning Commission 1929" - Melbourne's first strategic plan. Map No. 6 is mentioned throughout Chapter 4 of the 1929 Report. It states on page 156 that this Map was created to graphically illustrate the data collected by the Planning Commission. The Map illustrates the general distribution of uses of existing property throughout the metropolitan area. The coloured sections show the areas which were developed or were in the process of development in 1929. The colours indicate the distribution of uses in the developed areas. The pages inside the scrapbook have black and white cut out newspaper clippings adhered to the cream colour paper pages.
