3044.1 SEC (Geelong) Motorman/Drivers/Conductors cap - green cloth exterior, grey cotton interior lining, brown leather internal hat band, black cotton hat band on exterior. Black plastic peak fitted with cap or with four holes for the employee badge number in the centre of the cap above the hat band. Sewn on the inside is a label "Commonwealth Government Clothing Factory Melbourne" and stamped "7 3/8". The plastic band at the front half of the cap terminating in two small SEC metal buttons on either side is not present. Issued to crews and then checked by clerks. The last Revenue Journal printed - fares as the system closed in 9/1971 in Ballarat.Printed form titled "Revenue Journal", for recording the value of tickets sold by Conductors. Headed - "Provincial Tramways". Has value of tickets up to 18c, parcel tickets of 13c. Significant in being a almost complete set of rosters for Bendigo prior to closure - appear to be have been copied for a discussion or information document for management at Ballarat. Need to ascertain whether they line up with the actual last timetable. No Sunday tables given - probably did not change them.Set of photocopies of Rosters for Bendigo.
