Photo of Pioneers of Bendigo (copy or original). Men's photos are numbered with corresponding name on bottom of image. A large photograph was issued from the studio of Mr. H. Hanson, of McCrae street, to the order of Mr. R. Walker of Melbourne. The original Photograph is owned by Sandhurst Trustees Bendigo. It has six additional photographs attached. There are 472 photographs of pioneers of Bendigo. The earliest of these arrived in 1851 and most of them by 1860. The great majority, however, were pioneers from 1851 to 1856. Photograph - 11886 PETITION FOR BACN CREEK RESERVOIR
Petition sent in 1886 by the residents of Sandhurst to the Honourable James Sullivan Minister of mines in the colony of Victoria requesting the construction of a reservoir on back creek. The petition is on thirty-three photographs and is inside a quite well worn plain brown folder. On the front of the folder a stamp of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria Bendigo branch with the date:1960 and the number 217. Inside the cover in blue pen: donated by the Victoria Legislative through Mr. Galvin MLA and another RHSV stamp. The Mayor of Sandhurst at the time was John McIntyregovernment, state, 1886 petition -

Book - WAVERLEY PRIZE 1878 TWENTY FOUR VOLUMES, 1874
Waverley Novels Pocket Edition. Volumes 13 -24. Set of Novels awarded to William Fraser as the Waverley Prize 1878 at the Sandhurst Corporate High School Volume 1 has a Dark green book plate inserted inside the front cover. Book plate edged in gold and details printed in gold. First page has an imprint of the Bookseller - R Souter Sandhurst. The books are covered with a red, blue and orange marbled pattern. This patterned paper is also inside the front and front covers. The spine and corners are trimmed with dark green leather. Published by Adam and Charles Black 1873. The Waverley Novels were a series of more than two dozen historical novels published by Sir Walter Scott between 1814 and 1832. Clothing - BODICE (WEDDING DRESS), 1896
Bodice (Wedding dress), hand and machine stitched. Silk lined with polished cotton. Slim ruched sleeves - ruched at inner and elbow side of sleeve (hand sewn). Elbow edge of ruching forms two ''frilled pleats'' down the sleeve to the wrist. Wrist edge lily pointed and finished with a 9 cm underfill of cotton lace. Top of sleeves have a leg-o-mutton balloon effect panel sewn at the shoulder and the upper arm. This balloon effect hangs down over the sleeves almost to the elbow. Top of sleeve has an embroidered lace frill hanging over armhole. Two silk bows are placed at the shoulders. Stand-up collar,5 cm deep is finished on each side with a pearl and glass beaded bow motif- 6cm in diameter. Hook and eye fasteners down front-metal loops covered with button hole stitch. Bodice boned with thirteen (13) ''bones''. Each pocket finished with a fan pattern stitching. Linen panel, with a diamond shaped weave stitched at each underarm. Front bodice is pleated from shoulders to centre front. Right front laps across left to fasten with a hook on the left shoulder. This panel is heavily beaded with glass beads and sequins.
