Bound Document, two large ruled grey folded sheets with containing various schedules and letters typed onto foolscap (folio) or quarto sheets. Titled "Agreement Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board with A.N. Colquhoun "signed and sealed on 18th May 1945. Bound on left hand side with green ribbon. Gave Archibald Norman Colquhoun the right to advertising on the inside of tramcars and buses and on the rear of tickets for five years. Gave details of the contract, minimum payments, rebates and conditions of the contract. Schedule A - two pages - space available in tramcars Schedule B - two pages - buses ditto Schedule C - passenger check tickets / annum - some 350million - one page Schedule D - actual tendered document, 15/4/1948 - one page Schedule E - the Specification for the tender - five pages Schedule F - Letter signed by A.N. Four sections, stitch bound, 64 pages plus inside covers, printed by J.J. Miller Print Co. Pty Ltd., 19-25 Russell St, Melbourne. See page 58 for date of Board Resolution for By-Law - 2 March 1917 On first page, has details of who the book is loaned to, Name and Employed as. Provides the Rules and Regulations of the Trust concerning Accidents, fire, general instructions, signals, uniforms, staff working, pilot working, special instructions to Motormen and Conductors, tickets, tolls and charges. Details By-Laws, 1916. On page 58 has the Seal of the Trust and those who signed the document and on page 59, as List of doctors along each line, ambulance, Hospital and Telephone directory of senior officers. Signed by D. Book - dark grey Rexene covers, with title - "Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board - Rules, Regulations". Two sections, stapled and bound within heavy card covers, 80 pages with a typed index pasted inside rear covers, printed by Sands & McDougall, Melbourne. Authorised by W. O. Strangward Secretary 1923 and printed 1924. On first page, has number "6246" stamped onto the page. Provides the Rules and Regulations of the Board concerning Accidents, fire, general instructions, signals, uniforms, staff working, special instructions to Motormen and Conductors, tickets, safety for both Cable and Electric tramways. By-Law No. 5 provided on pages 76 to 80. On page 80 has the Seal of the Board and those who signed the document - Alex Cameron Chairman, Thos. O'L Reynolds Member and W. O. Strangward Secretary. Inside rear cover is a 12 page typed index to the rules in broken into sections for each letter of the alphabet - pages for M to O missing.
