Compiled for the 11/3/1971, "D" tin. Shows how the forms were completed and who was on duty that day. Have been signed by each conductor. Numbers of checks issued varies from 6 to 499. Outfit 41D has notes regarding a school passenger. Gives the totals, cash returned and overs/under amounts. Has a metal folding pin near the top left hand corner of the sheet, with the cover giving details of the outfit and date. Yields information about the form used in Ballarat and Bendigo by the SEC to enabling ticket checking by Inspectors on the trams and how they were packaged by the printers for the SEC.Pack of 250 "Supplementary Trip Way Bill", form No. TYE 1-580, as would have been supplied to the SEC from the printers. Has been wrapped in a sheet of paper and the number "250" within a circle written on to the sheet. Was held with a piece of adhesive tape. See Reg Item 68 for the details and use of these. Circular C 7055, dated 31/5/1951 details the introduction of Ultimate ticket machines by the MMTB, commencing 4 June and their use at some tram safety zones and bus stops in the City area. Details their use, day codes, checking of the tickets by tram conductors, and fares and how many tickets are issued for each fare - for example for a 2d fare, two 1d tickets would be issued. Has example tickets for 7 different fares using 5 different tickets or combinations. Circular C 7150, dated 10/10/1951 advising changes to the tickets issued resulting from an increased fare charge that commenced on 21/10. Shows a 9d ticket instead of a 5d and notes that the 9d is temporary.
