Demonstrates the Museum's ticketing systems and ongoing production of tickets.Block of 200 tickets - purple ink on off white paper, denomination 30c, lettered A 108801 to A 109000, headed Ballarat Tourist Tramway. On rear in purple ink are details of the Ballarat Tourist Tramway operating details, contact address and that it is operated by a volunteer organisation. The 200 tickets have been stapled onto a heavy cardboard back with a heavy metal staple. The tickets are in the style of the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria tramway tickets. Original block A 001 to A200 added 30/6/2004 - from archive holdings. Tickets in use as adult fare from 1/11/1975 to 31/7/1977 and as child fares from 1/7/1978 to 31/10/1985. Child single ticket for while, late 80's to 30/6/1991. Last block issued 1/1990. Ticket issue book shows that the first ticket/block? was collected for the archives - 10/9/1975. Set of five maps prepared by the SEC/Transport Regulation Board? reviewing the option for Ballarat bus routes after the closure of the Ballarat tramway system. Based on SEC drawing No. BA-D1-2222, drawn at 1" = 20 chains. Shows streets in Ballarat and Sebastopol areas. 1775.1 - tram lines shown in heavy blue lines, with grey and yellow (actual operating bus routes at the time?) routes marked out. A red dashed line defines the general built up area. 1775.2 - "PLAN A" - shows various routes in different colours for Davis, Sproule, Hick ex Whkes, Lyons, Braybrooks and Witkins services and existing tram lines. 1775.3 - "Plan B" 1775.4 - "Plan C" 1775.5 - "Plan D" 1175.6 - Plan as above, but showing existing bus routes, tram routes and suggested tram routes. Demonstrates the Museum's ticketing systems and ongoing production of tickets.Book of 10 All Day Tickets, numbered A001001 to A001010 printed for the Ballarat Vintage Tramway, contained within an orange colour front cardboard (front cover) and brown cardboard back cover sheet, with a single staple on the left hand side. On the front cover is stamped the first number of the ticket block. Each ticket is from a light yellow card stock, printed with green ink showing the month of issue on the sides and date of issue (1 to 31) on the top or bottom. Each ticket is numbered and has a perforated left edge to enable it to be torn from the book. Ticket punched by the conductor to shown the month and date of issue. On all tickets, just to the left of the staple has been printed with the Printers name and phone number. On the cover, the same information has been impressed on the cover as well, but no ink. Book containing 40 sets of forms for the recording of the issue of uniforms to the volunteer workers of the Ballarat Tramway Preservation Society. Consisting of 40 sets of original (retained in book) on white paper and duplicate (printed using a sheet of carbon paper) printed on heavy manilla colour paper, with the same details as the top copy and on the back requesting workers keep the uniform clean, neat and spruce to give a good impression of the Society. Contained with light green crocodile skin printed cardboard covers, stapled on the left hand side and the left hand edge of the book covered with a olive cloth glued on the book. The original is fast, the duplicate perforated down left, the numbers 0001 - 0026 have original copies only, the duplicate have been distributed carbon paper inserted between form number 0027 Printed by Milldean press during late 1975 and used from 1/12/1975 to 7/11/1979 - 26 forms issued. Issued to Ray Hall by Lew Walker and marked on rear as such.Two SEC tickets - 18c and 16c. 18c - ticket standard issue at the time - A407234 - See Reg Item 1724 for full details. SEC 16c ticket - yellow ink on off white paper, denomination 16c, lettered A521545, headed State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Provincial Tramways. On rear in yellow ink is a SEC advertisement "ELECTRICITY makes life easier" with the SEC's little boy wrapped in a towel logo. The ticket number is in black ink. On rear in black ink are words "Last ticket issued on Ballarat Tramways Sept 19, 1971. By Conductor L. Walker No 54 on last car 40 from Sebastopol to depot." Thirty Six page, with glossy white cover and plain white paper inside - "The Tramway Record Vol. 54, No. 13 Sept. 1992" - with title in green ink and Australian Tramway and Motor Omnibus Employees Association logo on the front cover. Printed by the Victorian branch of the union. Features on the front cover a photo (see image) of the tramway holiday flats at Rosebud. Black & White Photograph of one of the ESCo Toastracks being assembled in the Exhibition Buildings in Grenville St., north of the Alfred Hall in 1905. The other open Toastrack or Summer tramcar is behind this tram, with other California Combination cars on the sides. The trams have yet to be fitted with wheels or equipment, including headlights. Set of four black and white postcards printed onto a one sided colour textured stock and contained within a folded white glossy paper envelope. The white envelope has the title "Ballarat Trams A Pictorial History in Four Post Cards" and a horse tram printed on it - made from heavy one sided paste board. The postcards consist of 1. Horse tram arriving at Grenville St with person stepping off - same image as Reg. Item No. 1539, 3898 2. ESCo tram soon after opening - c1905/1906 - has Gardens destination sign. 3 ESCo Sebastopol tram at the time of construction - with a "Suttons for Gramophones" roof advertisement and lettered "Ballarat Tramways". 4.
