Small brown glass bottle, crown seal type. With the words 'Cohns Tomato Juice' stamped into the glass. Approx 40mm in diameter at the base and 130mm high. The emblazoned label also contains the words 'Produce of Cohns Limited Australia.' The words 'Bendigo' 'Swanhill' appear vertically beside the label. The following description is small letters also appears ' Contains not less than 5 milligrams of Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) per fluid ounce. The daily requirement of Vitamin C is 30 milligrams. Possibly adopted by the Salter family? Electoral Roll 1936: Highland Terrace Kangaroo Flat. Alice Mary Salter and William Robert Salter living together; presumed to be sister and brother. William Robert Salter was killed in a MVA in Bendigo in 1937 aged 26.
