Document. Handwritten sheet of Bendigo Advertiser report of 26 Aug. 1856 and a photocopy of same. On Saturday last Messrs Bruce & Co. of the Metropolitan Crushing Works crushed two tons of quartz - from the claim of Messrs Faul & Co in Iron Bark, which yielded the large quantity of 180 oz. of gold.
