Hand sewn and printed blue and gold wall hanging inviting Mayor and Mayoress Giudice to the Return Ball. The text is printed on the blue central fabric panel which has a gold fringe and tassels. Mounted black and white photograph of 30 uniformed ESCo Ballarat employees in a room seated or standing in four rows.. Date on rear of photo mounting is 1915. Different image and arrangement of employees to that in Reg Item 708 and 2238. Image 1 of the photograph and part of the mounting. Print 152H x 200W. Mounting is cardboard with a depressed photo mount area, with actual printed surrounded by another sheet of white paper (now off white). Cardboard has a light grey colour finish. On the bottom right hand side is the photographers name "Richards & Co., Ballarat". Image 2 - mounting and photograph showing general condition of the mounting. This was presented to the Rev Yule on 22 February 1907. Alexander Yule was born in 1830 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland becoming licenced in the Free Church of Scotland in 1854. He came to Australia in 1870 where he became Minister of Erskine church, Carlton. In 1892 College Church Parkville was established by members of the Erskine congregation. In 1891 he was moderator of Victoria. He died on 18 April 1907.Framed illuminated composite presentation art work which has illuminated text, the Presbyterian symbol of the burning bush, a photograph and illustrations of the College Church, Ormond College, University of Melbourne. This portable braille writer was made for the Royal Institute for the Blind, England. It embosses a roll of paper tape. A folding arm, which extends 29 centimetres beyond the width of the braille writer, holds the tape. The braille writer has six conventional keys and a spacing key. The bottom of the wooden carrying case serves as a base and is lined with green felt. It was manufactured by J.M. Used on Ballarat-Skipton railway line to carry money and tokens. Rescued from bonfire when Linton Station was demolished, by Fred Freestone. Donated to Society 1981.Two brown leather pouches. Bag 1 has brass plate which reads "Linton" (plate attached to square of leather stitched to bag). Bag 2 has the word "Linton" written in ink on front, where leather patch and brass plate used to be. Each bag has two brass loops at top, holding a leather strap which keeps the pouch closed. A brass padlock with a key is attached to the strap.Makers' marks: On padlock 1 and its key: "M 63" "J. Hubball Melbourne". On padlock 1: "VR". On padlock 2: " + " "S166" "59" "Chubb's Patent" "120 Queen Victoria St London" "Makers to Her Majesty" "120294" (=date?).
