The bag is unused. These bags would have been used by the Snowy River Co-Op in Orbost in the late 1960's-1980's. It would have been used for packing popping corn for sale. Snowy River Seeds started life as a farmers' co-operative (Snowy River Co-op) in 1967.This item is significant because it was specially made for the seed bean industry which has been a major industry in the Orbost district for over a century.A white woven synthetic fibre bag used to store popping corn prior to selling.On front of bag - Inside green circle is "Man From Snowy River" in orange and green writing. 25kg net Variety is Micropop Produce of..... This pitcher (jug) would have been used to hold milk and due to its elaborate design, it was placed on the table. This chintz transfer ware was made from 1930 until the 1980’s. The Rose time pattern was introduced in 1931. Indicated or provided a location to tram drivers and passengers of a tram stop that trams had to be hailed or be requested to stop. Gives details of the fare section. Produced by The Met, possibly during the 1980's. Stop 115 on route 55 (changed to route 58 in May 2017) is in Queensbridge St at the Southbank/Casino tram stop.Demonstrates the form of tram stop that The Met used to replace former tram stop signs and shows the typical tram stop sign of the era. These have since been replaced with Yarra Trams badged signs.Sign - "Stop 115, Route 55", aluminum folded sheet overlain on both sides with a printed reflective sheet with the image of a person hailing or signalling or requesting a tram to stop. Formed with a short angle on one side drilled with three holes for attaching to a pole. Has two holes along the top edge where it was secured to a stop structure. In 2014 the graves visited were those of people who were early directors and share holders of the Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Factory Company Limited. This company was established in 1888 and today is the oldest operating dairy factory in Australia. In 1980 the Ballarat School of Mines Council presented a proposal to the Ballarat City Council regarding occupying and managing the Ballarat East Free Library as a School of Traditional Crafts. Brian DUNLOP (1938-11.12.2009) Born Sydney Brian Dunlop was a still life and figurative painter who won the Sulman Prize in 1980. He was a finalist in the 2004 Archibald Prize. Dunlop painted portraits of public figures, including Queen Elizabeth II in 1984 for the 150th anniversary of the founding of Victoria, and held many exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne. It is possible that this may have been a wedding present or gift to Roy Wines and or his family as his name is scratched on the bottom. Roy was married in 1924 in Warrnambool. Roy Arthur Wines was Born in 1897 in Mailors Flat Victoria Australia and Died in 1980 in Ballarat. Roy lived for a number of years in Warrnambool during his married life.A massed produced item that at the time was cheap to buy with no makers mark or date stamp thousands would have been produced using a mould to make the ceramic case in two half's by pouring liquid clay into the mould and then joining the half's together when cured. This item could have been produced in Holland at any number of pottery factories at this time for export in vast quantities.Ceramic clock; the mechanism is plated steel and set in a ceramic case with glass over the face. The ceramic base colour is white with royal blue ceramic colour to the front and sides only. The blue ceramic has been painted over with lime green house paint on the front and sides. An inscription of a handwritten name is on the case and a hard-to-read model or batch number is on the cast base. The magazine was produced as a tribute to Lillian Roxan who was a great Australian and an international journalist. It is not dated but was published by Sungravure Pty Ltd circa 1974-75, The editor, Ailsa Craig wrote for the the magazine Woman's Day in the 1950s and 60s. she had an active career in journalism from 1960-1980. it contains b/w and sepia photographs. This magazine style paperback book contains photos of an earlier Australia.A paper magazine - AUSTRALIA ALBUM -THE PAST IN PICTURES. It contains prints of historic photos. On the front cover is a portrait of three young children dressed in early 19th century clothing. This is inside an oval frame with a gold border. There is a wreath of colourful flowers and butterflies surrounding this.The title is printed in red at the top. In the top right-hand corner is the price $1.50. It was edited by Ailsa Craig and contains photos and text from readers of Womans Day, The Sydney Morning Herald, the Sydney Mitchell Library and the Department of the Army. Do Drop In was a general store and hall from 1937 until 1955. It also served as a bus terminal up until 1979. The shop, hall and vintage buses were destroyed by fire 4 May 1980. The original holiday house was still occupied until 1982. York on Lilydale now occupies the site of Do Drop In.'Do Drop In' was an important institution in Mt Evelyn for many decades.
