In 1978, the Lions Club of Ivanhoe raised $6500 for the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV) to purchase a vehicle for its Action Program. In this photo, RAAV member, Laurie Griffiths, accepts delivery of the vehicle on behalf of the Association from the outgoing and incoming presidents of the club. A slightly cropped version of this photo appears on page 8 of the Vol 9, July 1978 issue of RAAV's quarterly newsletter, News Review. The all new body had a longer and wider wheelbase, with much more room inside, and for the first time V8 power was on offer.
