Dr Leslie Koadlow AO (1920-2006), Rheumatologist, was the Medical Director of the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Hospital. In 1968, he co-founded the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria (RAAV) with his secretary, Alice Petty, and one of his patients, Mollie Riches (1896-1979). In late 2000, Arthritis Victoria (formerly the Rheumatism and Arthritis Association of Victoria) celebrated the 80th birthday of its founder, rheumatologist Dr Leslie Koadlow AO (1920-2006). Around 90 people attended the celebratrions at AV's headquarters, including Dr Koadlow's family, colleagues, and friends. In 1992, Coles/Myer made a donation to the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's Project Arthritis Action Appeal. The funds were raised at the Coles Myer Sponsors Race Day. This photo depicts Mr Richard Thomas, Director of Corporate Affairs at Coles/Myer, handing the donation cheque to Dr Leslie Koadlow. Standing behind Dr Koadlow is Bruce Dyson (partially obscured), while others are seated around the room.
