Multiple labels suggest it was used many times for travel to and from Netherlands and Dutch East Indies.Black timber trunk clad with metal, metal strap on edge of lid, wooden slats on lid,, one missing; metal hinges, locks padlock type. Inside lined with with ticking pattern cotton cloth, remains of black strap. Remains of four stickers on lid.Stencilled name in white O. COERPER, repeated in larger letters painted on. On middle wooden slat Buissink, remains of previous name. Lower salt, Melbourne painted in light blue letters. Stickers: left side of lid, white sticker with red ring and red B inside. On lower left side of lid, remains of sticker with Stoomvaart Maatschappij. Sticker on top right hand corner of lid, Black and white square cargo sticker,Javakade. Maastricht, Holland, was the city where Petrus Regout established the De Sphinx pottery in 1836. De Sphinx operated under the name Petrus Regout & Co. until 1899. The firm was noted for its transfer-printed earthenware. Many factories in Maastricht are still making ceramics. The plate was created to celebrate the silver jubilee of Queen Wilhelmina in 1923.A ceramic plate decorated in blue with pictures and words. Central to the image is a coat of arms featuring a central lion and 4 identical hunting horns. The whole is surmounted by a crown. The rim is decorated with orange blossoms.The words read: "Mijn schilt en de betrouwen Syt Ghy O God myn Heer. Op U soo wil ick bouwen Verlaat my nimmermeer." These are words from the second verse of the National Anthem recorded in Old Dutch. The dates 1898-1923 also feature on the front of the plate. The back bears the maker's stamp, an imprint of a small arrow, an imprint of ¾ and the words "Made in Holland". The maker's stamp reads: "Petrus Regout & Co Maastricht". It is surmounted by a sphinx. There are also two holes in the rim to enable hanging of the plate.

The M.S. Sibajak may well have the most varied service of all the post-WWII Dutch immigrant ships. She had ties with the Dutch East Indies before and after the declaration of independence; she served the Allies as a troop transport ship while under the management of the widely-known British shipping company P. & O. As an immigrant ship plying the Atlantic, the Sibajak had as docking points Rotterdam, Quebec and New York. The programme presented to-night is also the result of his interpretation of the descriptive works of these modern composers, In bidding farewell to him at this Concert the Committee and members desire to express their thanks for the energy with which he has carried out the duties of Acting Conductor. In the 1990s and early 2000s, the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria conducted a range of exercise classes under the theme, "Move It Or Lose It".
