In preparation for the construction of the Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's new building at 263-265 Kooyong Rd, Elsternwick, an event was held on the 8th of December, 1993, to commemorate the pegging of the site. The Arthritis Foundation of Victoria's new headquarters was officially opened on the 19th of October, 1994, by the Governor of Victoria, Richard E McGarvie. Named the Percy Baxter Arthritis Centre, the new building is situated at 263-265 Kooyong Rd, Elsternwick. In this photo, AFV CEO, Shirley Caulfield, addresses guests at the event.
