Ewen Rankin migrated from Scotland to Victoria in 1852 with his parents and brothers and sisters. He became an important figure in Linton, being involved with both agricultural and mining activities. He was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church. He married Anna Woods in 1874 and they had several children, who also went on to become Linton identities.Black and white image of a man with a short beard.
