Set of 13 mixed SEC decimal tickets found in Ballarat No. 18, behind the north side sandbox, No. 2 end, 6/12/1997. Tickets have been used and are generally in a good condition. The image file shows the nature of the damage. Tickets have not been individually numbered with the Registration Number, but can be identified by their ticket number and denomination. The 50 tickets have been stapled within red card covers with a heavy metal staple and perforated 21mm from left hand edge. The ticket number is in black ink. The ticket could only be used by SEC employees on Commission business, was not transferable and only good for a single trip. Has form number "TYE 2-19". Demonstrates aspects of the SEC ticketing, governance and monitoring systems. The Pass or ticket could be issued to a SEC staff member to enable travel on the tramways while on business. Style remained very similar to the end of the tramways.SEC Provincial Tramways "Staff Ticket" No. Aa000448. Printed on heavy dark brown paper with black printing. Ticket good for single trip only, of use by employees when travelling on Commission's business. Form No. TYE-2-19. Not known when printed, possibly 1960's maybe earlier. Has been cancelled by "X"d in ink and removed from a 1930's ticket manual or similar document as it has paper on the rear of the ticket covering the conditions of use - see also Reg Item 3648 for the same paper backing.Has been "X" in inktrams, tramways, tickets, staff tickets, employees pass -

SECV - Ballarat Tourist Ticket - 1/- on light weight card, manila colour with printed details in blue ink - unused, but marked "Cancelled" in red ink across the face of the ticket. Has numbers "1" to "31" on bottom section of the ticket. Has space on front for day of availability to be written in and passengers signature. Printed to be available in the three SEC Provincial systems. On rear has number A 502 stamped on top of the ticket in black ink. Has number FTY20-101 printed on the rear. Yields information about the style and printing of tickets used in Ballarat tramways and how they were presented at the various times during the SEC control.Four number - 4No. - Paper SEC ticket - 1/- in value, (one schilling) - purple ink on off white paper, numbered A143847, 147681, 158684 and 158687. The ticket price is in purple ink while the ticket number itself is in black ink. On rear in purple ink is a diagonal criss cross or tartan pattern. All tickets have been used. Not numbered on rear.
