Councilor W.Powell,(J.P.),was elected to council in 1935 serving till 1963.He was Shire President in 1939-40,1948-49,1958-59. This photo was taken to form a composite photo, of all councilors, to commemorate the opening of the Wendouree Municiple Centre on 20th November 1959.
