Allan Charles Quinn was a member of the Merchant Navy from aged 16 as well as being a trained photographer. This photograph was taken during his travels through America whilst still being associated with the Merchant Navy.
Significance
This photograph of the Empire State building is a part of the Allan Charles Quinn Collection which is a photographic autobiography of the life of an individual seafarer.
