Summary
The subject publication is Charles Lindbergh's own account of his life and his historic solo, non-stop transatlantic flight from New York to Paris in May 1927, flown in the Spirit of St. Louis. It is an autobiographical work by Charles A. Lindbergh about his life and the events leading up to and including his May 1927 New York to Paris solo trans-Atlantic flight that was first published on 27 July 1927 by G.P. Putnam's Sons in New York, with an appendix by Fitzhugh Green. The 'We' of the title refers to Lindbergh and his aircraft together. It includes a foreword by Myron T. Herrick, the U.S. Ambassador to France, and dozens of photographs documenting Lindbergh's life, the building of the plane, and the flight itself.
